At this price, you're getting a drone that can get airborne, respond to your controller inputs, and (hopefully) come back down in one piece. What you're not getting is any meaningful camera system, GPS positioning, or intelligent flight features.
Most drones in this tier use a basic 6-axis gyroscope for stability. That means the drone can stay roughly level, but the moment there's any wind — even a light breeze — it drifts. You'll spend a lot of time correcting with the stick rather than composing shots. Don't expect to nail a smooth video in a park on a typical afternoon.
What the camera actually looks like at this price
The spec sheet might say "1080p," but that resolution is captured by a tiny 1/8" sensor with no optical image stabilization (OIS) and no electronic image stabilization (EIS). The drone locks onto satellites and holds its position in space. Let go of the sticks: it hovers, perfectly still. Walk away: it doesn't drift. Lose the signal: it returns home automatically.
That's the "Return to Home" (RTH) feature, and it's a genuine safety net for newer pilots. In this tier you'll also find Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) kicking in on the camera, which smooths out much of the vibration that plagued entry-level video.

This is the tier where drone video stops looking like drone video and starts looking like cinematography. The key upgrade: a 2-axis or 3-axis mechanical gimbal.
EIS (the electronic stabilization in the tier below) corrects for vibration digitally by cropping into the image. It works, but it costs you field of view and introduces subtle warping. A mechanical gimbal is a physical gyroscopic mount that keeps the camera perfectly level regardless of what the drone's body does. The drone can pitch, roll, and yaw in the wind, and your footage stays buttery smooth. For video content creators, this is a non-negotiable feature.
